Toki — native LinkedIn scheduler for macOS
Toki is my native macOS app for scheduling LinkedIn posts directly from your Mac. Composer with real-time preview, content calendar, carousels, drawing canvas, Canva import — and your data stays local, not in the cloud. Coming soon to the Mac App Store.
01The context
Toki came out of a simple need: I wanted to schedule my LinkedIn posts without opening yet another SaaS tool, without creating yet another account, and without my drafts living on someone else's servers. No existing tool ticked all three boxes — so I built it.
The app is 100% native macOS. No hidden webview, no background browser, no stray browser tab. You install it from the Mac App Store, sign in via the official LinkedIn API, and you're ready.
The heart of Toki is the editor. Write a post with character counter, a real-time preview that shows exactly how it will look on LinkedIn (name, avatar, Repost button and all), save as draft, come back later. Add images, build swipeable carousels, import designs straight from Canva, or draw your own visuals in the built-in canvas — Pro feature.
02The product
Schedule at the time that works for you. Toki handles the rest in the background, even when the window is closed. A macOS notification warns you before each post goes live. The calendar view surfaces your pipeline at a glance: scheduled, published, failed, gaps.
On the data side, one strong choice shaped the whole product: your posts, drafts, and templates are stored locally on your Mac, not in the cloud. Toki connects to the official LinkedIn API to publish on your behalf. Firebase is used for crash reporting only. If you ever uninstall Toki, your Data Export (JSON) has you covered — Pro feature. No forced migration, no lock-in.
Pricing: free up to 20 posts / 5 carousels per month, Pro at roughly $2/month to unlock the rest (unlimited posts and carousels, 2-year calendar, drawing canvas, Canva import, data export/import).
03The outcome
Toki is coming soon to the Mac App Store. Designed, built, and maintained by Invent Better.
