1. Overview

This policy explains what data invent-better.com collects when you visit the site or book a call through the reservation form. It applies to the main domain invent-better.com and admin subdomains. Privacy policies for products hosted on dedicated subdomains (Toki, Tato, Faro, etc.) are separate.

2. Data we collect

2.1 Bookings (/book form)

When you book a free 15-minute call we collect:

Your name and email address
The topic of the call and the service you selected
The slot you chose and your timezone
Your IP address and user-agent (anti-abuse rate limiting, retained for 24 h)

2.2 Technical data

Like any web service, our server temporarily logs requests (IP address, timestamp, requested URL, user-agent) for security and diagnostic purposes. These logs are kept for at most 30 days.

2.3 Cookies

The site uses a single strictly necessary session cookie (ci_session) to remember your language preference and, if applicable, your admin session. No advertising or third-party tracking cookies are set.

3. Purposes and legal basis

Bookings: performance of a pre-contractual request (Art. 6.1.b GDPR)
Site security and anti-abuse: legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR)
Language preference (cookie): necessary for service operation (Art. 6.1.b)

4. Sharing with third parties

Your data is never sold. It is shared only with the following technical providers:

Google Calendar / Google Meet: when you confirm a booking, an event is created on the Invent Better calendar and a Google Calendar invite with a Google Meet link is sent to you. Google's policy: policies.google.com/privacy
Hosting provider (Hostinger, EU): hosts the website and database

No transfer outside the European Union takes place for the booking database. Google may process Calendar invites on its global servers under its own safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses).

5. Retention

Bookings: 3 years (client relationship tracking, accounting obligations)
Anti-abuse data (IP, user-agent): 24 hours
Server logs: 30 days

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. To exercise these rights, contact us via the contact form, stating the nature of your request. You will receive a reply within 30 days.

You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL): www.cnil.fr.
